NOTE: All photoshop tutorials were made using Photoshop CS2. It may or may not work the same on other photo editing programs!
This tutorial will should you how to add a border to your image in Photoshop.
Step 1: Start by finding a nice picture to use; as you can see I am using the one below and I have already previously edited and spiced it up a little bit.
Step 2: Now select the layer that the picture is on in the layers palette and go to Layer>Layer Properties>Stroke. Match your settings to the image below and click OK.
And you're done! Your finished result should look something like this:
There are also other ways to do it. This is just the way I do it.
And there are tons of different border styles too! This is just a basic border. So play around with it and you can get some pretty cool borders.
